I started in tech when my brother first introduced me to HTML in 1999. Coming from a creative background, I was fascinated by the fact that you could use lines of text to create something visually appealing.

After graduating, I learnt how to design and develop websites, offering my services to small businesses before finding a digital marketing role for an e-commerce business where I worked closely with the development team. From there, I moved into agency roles where I became more involved in the technical delivery of web projects and marketing campaigns.

Today, I'm the founder of tech startup that helps early stage entrepreneurs access sweat equity talent while giving talent the opportunity to invest their time and skills in the next big thing. It's been a squiggly career path, but that's what I love about being in tech - there's a role for everyone.
