Beings in Tech

Women and gender diverse people are transforming the world of tech. We are writing code, managing projects, launching start ups, mentoring others. We are career changers, graduates, senior leaders, founders, parents, friends and so much more. Our diversity makes us stronger - women of colour, trans women, non-binary people, working class women, disabled women, neurodiverse women, women of faith, queer women - all working together to uplift each other and show the world what working in tech is really like.

The Manchester Tech Festival Women In Tech: Unfiltered event was the perfect place to meet these incredible people. With their focus on Intersectional Feminism, I am grateful to the organisers for agreeing to open their doors, enabling me to connect with their diverse community and, in turn, launch the 'Beings in Tech' project. Manchester Tech Festival is a community driven, independent organisation on a mission to achieve digital equality for all residents across Greater Manchester. Join their adventure here!
